At Home in Isla Mujeres got its start thanks to our home rental business in Cozumel. You see, Cozumel is where we began and where we manage homes. It's still a pretty laid back place once you get to where the homes are located. Over time a lot of people called us who wanted an island getaway that runs at even a slower pace than Cozumel. As improbable as it might seem, there is such a place. It's called Isla Mujeres. If you want to just kick back and enjoy lazing on a beautiful beach there's no place like Isla Mujeres. On the fabled North Beach the sea is clear and dead calm. Just around the corner is the crashing surf of the east beach.

The town of Isla Mujeres is charming, especially at night when the day trippers from Cancun go home. It's full of old fashioned wooden buildings painted in hot tropical colors, just like you may have seen in New Orleans. At night the local people open up their doors and windows and go visiting from door to door or pass the time in the town square. It's a bit of what the Mexican Caribbean is all about.

All the hotels, condos, and villas we represent in Isla Mujeres have been inspected by us with a critical and knowledgeable eye. We manage homes so we know what to look for.
